About
Nevin Gibb Building has been trading and running a team of builders in Wanaka for over 10 years. Nevin and his team works on a variety of different types of projects, within the Upper Clutha area; of late these have been mostly residential, the majority of these jobs have also included full management for the Owner/or Developer.
Prior to moving to Wanaka, Nevin completed his training and built for a number of years in Canterbury.
Over this time in Wanaka Nevin has put together an excellent team of builders, who at present are all fully licensed building practitioners, who take pride in setting a high quality standard of workmanship for their clients.
After 10 years of living and working in Wanaka, Nevin and his team have built up strong relationships with his subcontractors, who in turn equally set a high standard of workmanship and can relate and understand our client’s requirements. Both the team and the subcontractors always take pride in seeing a new home or alterations being handed over to the owners, completed on time to the highest standard.
Nevin completed work on a large scale holiday home at Dublin Bay for absentee owners where work included a large scale dwelling with separate guest house, which was completed on time and on budget. They also completed in the same year work on the Hidden Hills Show home; which was an architectural build of 370sqm, with many interesting features, and products being used.
Recent projects completed also include two new properties, one in Galloway Tce and the second in Clearview Street (Peninsula Bay) both of which were architectural builds of approx. 350 sqm. This year they are currently working on a large new project in Elderberry Cres, in Far Horizons Park, Wanaka, for a couple from Sydney, building their dream holiday home here for themselves and extended family.
The past few years have been busy, with a number of new homes being completed within the Wanaka area. These jobs have all resulted in happy clients, which is a driving factor for Nevin and his company, as he believes that these client relationships are what successful building is all about.
